Wanda was born in Seoul, South Korea, immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of two and lived in Huntsville, Alabama. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia and completed her undergraduate and graduate studies.
Wanda believes pregnancy and childbirth is a special time in a woman's life. When asked why she became a midwife Wanda says, "I want to help women have a positive birth experience. It's a story they will tell for the rest of their lives, so I want to help make it an amazing one."
Wanda strives to support women in having the birth experience they desire. She believes it is important for women to know their bodies, and she empowers women through patient education. Wanda always takes time to teach and answer questions. Her patients appreciate for her openness and honesty.
"Northside Women's Specialists makes the patient the priority," says Wanda. "The physicians and midwives work collaboratively to give patients the best care possible."
Wanda now resides in the Dunwoody area with her husband and three beautiful sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, serving in her church, and considers herself a serious foodie. Her three sons were delivered by Northside Women’s Specialists midwives, and she plans to stay with Northside Women’s Specialists as a patient and midwife for years to come.
